Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential services across two elementary schools in Fort Worth, TX, supporting students from PreK to 5th grade. This contract position will primarily cover two maternity leaves, requiring onsite presence at specified campuses and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students aged PreK through 5th grade.
- Manage caseloads of approximately 53 students at Independence Elementary (PreK-3rd grade) and 48 students combined at Old Settlers Elementary and Southridge Elementary (K-5th grade).
- Allocate time to two half-days weekly at an additional campus as required.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement effective communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with an active state license.
- Preferably an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) must have established supervision arranged prior to commencement, as the district cannot provide supervision.
- Prior experience working within a school setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time commitment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Onsite presence required at Independence Elementary, Old Settlers Elementary, and Southridge Elementary in Fort Worth, TX.
